The 9 12 Project
Glen Beck's 9 Principles and 12 Values as a guide for all American life.
The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
The 12 Values
1. Honesty
2. Reverence

Terrorism verses
Capitalism
A Muslim terrorist, desperate for water, was plodding
through the desert when he saw something far off in
the distance. Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the oasis,
only to find a little old Jewish man at a small stand, selling
neckties.
The Muslim asked, "Do you have water?"
The Jewish man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy
a tie? They are only $5."
The Muslim shouted, "Idiot! I do not need an over-priced tie. I
need water! I should kill you, but I must find water first!"
"OK," said the old Jewish man, "It does not matter that you do
not want to buy a tie and that you hate me. I will show you that
I am bigger than that. If you continue over that hill to the
east for about two miles, you will find a lovely restaurant. It
has all the ice cold water you need. Shalom."
Cursing, the Muslim staggered away over the hill.
Several hours later he staggered back, almost dead &
said....."Your brother won't let me in without a necktie!"

"When you know where you are going, it is much
easier to get started and even arrive on schedule."

"I used to believe ..."
The phrase that every single scientist who ever lived has uttered
is: "I used to believe ..." They say this to prove their
advanced and advancing knowledge. But their statement betrays
their knowledge. Whatever they insist on today as being truth,
is simply a refinement or editing of what they used to believe the
day before. So, tomorrow they will have a new "truth"(?) that they
will insist is the last word on the subject.
They all speak with the most definite authority, but all have a
change in belief at one point in time or another. Notice the
word "belief", not facts. Facts do
not change.

Babel's Fallen!
Babylon, Confusion, Conspired Error
- Babel’s walls, so long obscuring
All the ways of truth and right,
Crumble now before the shining
Of the glorious evening light.
- Now are Zion’s walls erected,
And her watchmen fear the Lord;
From the heights of full salvation
Loud proclaim His holy word.
- Oft they told us that no mortal
Could enjoy this perfect peace;
But we’ve found a full fruition,
And the year of sweet release.
- Hail the day of heav’nly freedom!
Though so long has been the night,
Brighter seems the radiant splendor
As we reach the evening light.
Refrain:
Babel’s fallen, hallelujah!
Hear the saints in chorus sing;
From the summit of Mount Zion,
Hear their glad hosannas ring.

O! For a Perfect Trust
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose
mind is stayed on Thee."
Isaiah 26:3
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
My loving God, in Thee;
Unwavering faith that never doubts
Thou choosiest best for me.
Best, though my plans be all upset;
Best though my way be rough;
Best, though my earthly store be scant;
In Thee I have enough.
Best, though my health and strength be gone;
Though weary days be mine;
Shut out from much that others have;
Not my will, Lord, but Thine.
And e'en though disappointments come,
They, too, are best for me
To wean me from this changing world
And lead me nearer Thee.
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
That looks away from all;
That sees Thy hand in everything,
In great events and small.
That hears Thy voice — a Father's voice —
Directing for the best —
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
A heart with Thee at rest.

What Jesus Is To Me
He is my Shield from every dart;
He is my Balm for every smart;
He is my Sharer of each load;
He is my Companion on the road.
He is my Door into the fold;
He is my Anchor that will hold;
He is my Shepherd of the sheep;
He is my Guardian of my sleep.
He is my Friend with Whom I talk;
He is the Way by which I walk;
He is my Light to show my way;
He is my Strength for every day.
He is my Source of my delight;
He is my Song to cheer the night;
He is the Thought that fills my mind;
He is the Best of all I find.

A Beautiful Life
(Public Domain)
Each day I’ll do a golden deed,
By helping those who are in need;
My life on earth is but a span,
And so I’ll do the best I can.
To be a child of God each day,
My light must shine along the way;
I’ll sing His praise while ages roll,
And strive to help some troubled soul.
The only life that will endure,
Is one that’s kind and good and pure;
And so for God I’ll take my stand,
Each day I’ll lend a helping hand.
I’ll help someone in time of need,
And journey on with rapid speed;
I’ll help the sick and poor and weak,
And words of kindness to them speak.
While going down life’s weary road,
I’ll try to lift some trav’ler’s load;
I’ll try to turn the night to day,
Make flowers bloom along the way.
-
Refrain:
Life’s evening sun is sinking low,
A few more days, and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done,
Where there will be no setting sun.

Political Philosophies Explained
* Feudalism: You have 2 cows, the lord takes some of the
milk.
* Pure Socialism: You have 2 cows. The government
takes them and puts them in a barn with the cows of others. The
government gives you some of the milk.
* Bureaucratic Socialism: You have 2 cows. The
government takes them and puts them in a barn with the cows of
others. They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers. You care for the
chickens taken from the chicken farmers. You receive milk and eggs
according to regulations.
* Fascism: You have 2 cows. The government takes both and
hires you to care for them and sells you the milk.
* Russian Communism: You have 2 cows. You care for
them, but the government takes the milk.
* Dictatorship: You have 2 cows. The government takes both
and shoots you.
* Representative Democracy: You have 2 cows. Your
neighbors vote on a person to tell you what to do with the milk.
* British Democracy: You have 2 cows. You feed them
sheep's brains and they go mad and the government doesn't do
anything.
* Bureaucracy: You have 2 cows. At first, the government
regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them. Then
it pays you not to milk them. Then it takes both cows and shoots
one, milks the other, but pours out the milk. Then it requires you
to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.
* Capitalism: You have 2 cows. You sell one and buy a bull.
* Totalitarianism: You have 2 cows. The government takes
them and denies they ever existed. Bans milk.
* Environmentalism: You have 2 cows. The government bans
you from milking them or killing them or using the fertilizer.
* Surrealism: You have 2 giraffes. The government requires
you to take accordion lessons and forbids the sale of your 2 cows.
* Counterculturism: Wow, dude, there's like ... these 2
cows, man. This is like, wild, where milk comes from.
* Hong Kong Capitalism: You have 2 cows. You
sell 3 of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of
credit opened by your brother-in-law, then execute a debt equity
swap with an associated general offer so that you get all 4 cows
back, with tax deduction for keeping 5 cows. The milk rights of 6
cows are transferred via a Panamanian intermediary to a Cayman
Islands company secretly owned by the majority stock holder, who
sells the rights to all 7 cows' milk back to the listed company.
They now have all 8 cows with an option for one more.
You May Be A Redneck If . . .
* You think the Stock Market has a fence around it.
* Your coffee table is an old cable spool.
* Your mother has "ammo" on her Christmas list.
* You burn your front yard, rather than mow it.
* Fewer than half your cars run.
* You have been kicked out of the zoo for heckling the monkeys.
* Your dog and your wallet are both on a chain.
* You think tooth paste is for gluing teeth back together.

Thankfulness, Robbery
On the very night that Matthew Henry was robbed, he prayed this
prayer ...
"I thank Thee,
FIRST, because I was never robbed before;

FOURTH, because it was I who was robbed and not I who was doing the
robbing.
Matthew Henry
The Fields are white unto Harvest
If all the lost people of the world were to line up single file ...
The line would reach around the world 30 times.
The line would grow at the rate of 20 miles per day.
If you should attempt to drive 50 miles per hour, 10 hours per day,
it would take you 4 years and 40 days to get to the end of that

Faith in the Resurrection
In his Bible, found in the Gatehouse at Westminster after his death,
Sir Walter Raleigh left this version of one of his earlier poems:
Even such is time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with age and dust;
Who in the dark and silent grave,
When we have wandered all our ways,
Shuts up the story of our days.
And from which earth, and grave, and dust,
The Lord shall raise me up, I trust.

Religion is the best armor a man can have, but it is the worst
cloak.
John Bunyan
Free Will
Although god created man without man’s help, He will not save man
without man’s consent.
Priority
We don’t go to Heaven head first but heart first.
Tom Malone, Sr.
Grace
It is just as easy to climb to Heaven from a molehill as it is
from the top of Mount Everest. You can do neither.
C.W.H.
Salvation
You don’t spell salvation “D-O.” You spell it “D-O-N-E.”
C.W.H.
Repentance
Deathbed repentance is burning the candle of life in the service
of the Devil, then blowing the smoke into the face of God.
Billy Sunday
Salvation
Better never to have been born at all, than never to have been
born again.
Salvation
Most anybody can put a new suit of clothes on a man, but only
God can put a new man in a suit of clothes.
Salvation
Justification is something that cannot be reversed and followed
by damnation.
Procrastination
If we put off repentance another day, we have a day more to
repent of, and a day less to repent in.
Mason
Grace
Trying to earn salvation by our goodness is like putting a drop
of perfume in an ocean of filth.
C.W.H.
Faith
I don’t know I’m saved because I feel good; I know I’m saved
because the Bible says so; and I feel good because I know I’m saved.
Bob Jones, Sr.
Soul Winning
Salvation may come in quietly, but few people can keep quiet
about it.
C.W.H.
Certainty
The salvation that Jesus Christ purchased for a lost world is
wonderful in its magnitude. It is as deep as fallen humanity, as
broad as the compassion of God, as high as Heaven, and as
everlasting as the eternal Rock of Ages.
Uncle Bud Robinson
Salvation
You have not been high-born until you have been born from on
High.
Bob Jones, Sr.
Procrastination
Many who expect to be saved in the eleventh hour die at ten-thirty.
Asking and Receiving
Christ knocks at my door here, and I knock at His door over there.
If I open to Him here, He will open to me over there. Isn’t that
fair?
Uncle Bud Robinson
Fools, Foolishness
Under the Constitution of the United States every man has the
right to make a fool of himself as he sees fit.
Repentance
Many people believe that admitting a fault means they no longer
have to correct it.
Attitude
Don’t go around with a chip on your shoulder—people might think it
came off your head.
Selfishness, Lazy
When we expect more of others than we expect of ourselves, we are in
a state of carnality.
Your Father the Devil, Your Father in Heaven?
What you are is not nearly as important as whose you are.
Pride
Self always wants to be crowned, but God says you must be
crucified.
Remembrances, Thankfulness
He who forgets his friend is ungrateful to him, but he who
forgets his Saviour is unmerciful to himself.
Bunyan
Repentance
Confessing your sins is no substitute for forsaking them.
Pride
“No man has a right to do as he pleases, except when he pleases
to do right.”
Charles Simmons
Pride
When a man won’t listen to his conscience, it’s usually because
he doesn’t want advice from a total stranger.
Pride
The Greeks said, “Know thyself.” The Romans said, “Control
thyself.” Christ said, “Deny thyself.”
Pride
Who has deceived thee so oft as thyself?
Benjamin Franklin
Pride
If a hypocrite is between you and Heaven, then he’s closer to
Heaven than you are.
Pride
Big shots are small shots who keep on shooting.
Pride
Many people are suffering from self-inflicted wounds.
Pride
I have never met a man who has given me as much trouble as
myself.
D.L. Moody
Repentance
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of
changing himself.
Leo Tolstoy
Pride
I always like to hear a man talk about himself, because then I
never hear anything but good.
Will Rogers

One man complained, “I am the kind of person who, if it were
raining soup, I would be standing there with a fork.”
Pride
He who falls in love with himself is not apt to have much
competition.
Pride
It is all right to talk with yourself, but you are in trouble when
you start asking questions.
Pride
I like to talk to myself for two reasons. First, I like to hear
intelligent people talk; and second, I like to talk to intelligent
people.
John R. Rice
Pride
Some people think they are big shots just because they explode
with a loud noise!
Optimism
No man who thinks in terms of catching mice will ever catch
lions.
Pride
Give some people an inch, and they think they are rulers.
Pride
We are all dangerous fold without God’s controlling hand.
William Ward Ayer
Grace
The will of God will never lead us where the grace of God is
inadequate to keep us.
Character
“You can never do more than your duty,” said Robert E. Lee,
“and you should never wish to do less.”
Character
Service can never become slavery to one who loves.
J.L. Massee
Ministry
If God has called you, do not spend time looking over your
shoulder to see who is following.
Character
It is more important to be than to do. You can do without being
but you can’t be without doing.
C.W.H.
Character
Serve for the good you can do, not for the praise you get.
Character
The higher you rise in the likeness of Jesus, the lower you will
stoop in your service for others.
Character
Do what you can, where you are, with what you have.
Character
The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except
those that sang best.
Opportunity
Slight not what’s near while aiming at what’s far.
Importance
The most important light in the house is not the chandelier in
the parlor. It’s that little back hall light that keeps you from
breaking your neck when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the
night.
Bob Jones, Sr.

The best ability is availability.
C.W.H.

Have your tools ready; God will find you work.

wages.
Character
The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and
dependent upon it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as it had
nothing else in the universe to do.
Galileo
Opportunity
The measure of your responsibilities is a measure of your
opportunities.
Bob Jones, Sr.
Character
The real tragedy of life is not in being limited to one talent,
but in the failure to use the one talent.
Pride
What a big difference there is between giving advice and lending
a hand!
Character
A good rule to follow: give God the first part of every day,
the first day of every week, and the first part of your income.
C.W.H.
Character
God never puts any man in a place too small to grown in.
Character
Our Lord was a willing Saviour, and He uses only willing
servants.
C.W.H.
Power of God
God doesn’t call the fit; he fits the called.
Place Value Correctly
When the good takes the place of the best, even the good becomes
bad.
Ready
We need the eagerness to serve like that of a hunting dog
awaiting a chase.
Acting Out Sin
Temptation is not a sin. It only becomes a sin when it is
yielded to. Even our Lord was tempted.
C.W.H.
God Limits Himself
Stay away from the precipice! You can’t alter the inevitable!
If you lean too far out of the window, they’ll call the coroner! If
you eat salt herring, even the grace of God won’t keep you from
being thirsty! Eat raw onions, and even the grace of God won’t give
you the sweet breath of a baby! Some things are INEVITABLE.
Profound
You can find the world’s shortest sermon on a thousand traffic
signs: KEEP RIGHT.
Amarillo News
God Limits Himself
God will lower the gate of warning, sound the bell, flash the
red light, but He won’t keep you from crossing the tracts.
Transfer of Power
We gain the strength of the temptation we resist.
God Changes the Heart
Sin is a heart disease than can only be permanently remedied by
the Great Physician.
Order
The lust of the flesh is a consuming desire to do. The lust of
the eyes is a compelling urge to have. The pride of life is a
constant thrust to be.
Common Sense
When in doubt play safe.
Bob Jones, Sr.
Relationship
Christ died for sin; the believer dies to sin; the unbeliever
dies in sin.
D.L. Moody
Incurable
The disease of an evil conscience is beyond the practice of all
the physicians of all the countries in the world.
W.E. Gladstone
Priorities
A ship is safe in the ocean as long as the ocean is not in the
ship. And a Christian is safe in the world so long as the world is
not in the Christian.
Blame
It wasn’t the apple on the tree that caused all the trouble; it
was the pair on the ground.
Resist
By yielding to temptation, one may lose in a moment what it took
him a lifetime to gain.
Acknowledgement, Results
A prisoner mending his trousers was asked, “Are you sewing”,
“No,” he replied, “I’m reaping.”
Results
Whosoever sows to the flesh must pluck the thistles of his own
sowing. He will be thrashed, scratched and bruised by the thorns of
his own misdeeds.
Without Honor
Sin in a Christian’s life makes a coward of him.
Singlemindedness
Christ cannot reign in the parlor of our hearts while we
entertain the Devil in the cellar of our thoughts.
Temptations
One of the worst things about sin for the Christian is that it
weakens our moral and spiritual resistance.
C.W.H.
Payday, Results
Sin: a moment of gratification; an eternity of remorse.

It is easier to suppress the first desire than to satisfy all
that follow it.
Franklin
Sowing and Reaping
Wild oats need no fertilizer.

A gash in the conscience may disfigure a soul forever.
Spurgeon
Priorities
Bad things in life are enjoyed first and paid for later, but
good things in life are paid for first, then later enjoyed.
Priorities
Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is
wrong, even if everyone is for it.
Determination
No one can honestly or hopefully be delivered from temptation
unless he has himself honestly and firmly determined to do the best
he can to keep out of it.
Ruskin
Sin Stains
You cannot think dirty, you cannot talk dirty, you cannot act
dirty-and be clean!
Resistance
Temptations, when first we meet them, are as a lion that roared
upon Samson, but if we overcome them, the next time we see them, we
shall find a nest of honey within.
John Bunyan
Appropriate
The time is never right to do a wrong thing.
Sin is Never Discounted
One thing to be sure of – there will be no reduction in the
wages of sin.
Backsliding
To explain why you backslide does not justify it.
Narrow, Straight Path
Some people have yet to learn that they cannot travel in the
wrong direction and reach the right destination.
Sin will expose itself
The Devil always gets out a few extra copies when a saint goes
wrong.
Exposed
If we cover our sin, God will uncover it; if we uncover it to God,
He will cover it with His blood.
Try Your Best
It is a sin to do less than your best.
Bob Jones, Sr.
Trap
Better shun the bait than struggle in the snare.
Dryden.
Numbness
The further a man goes in lust and iniquity, the more dead he
becomes to purity and holiness. He loses the power to appreciate
the beauties of virtue or to be disgusted with abominations of
vice.
Spurgeon
Immodesty
Where modesty is absent, virtue has no means of protection.
Forgiveness, Forsake
Sin must be dealt with in one of two ways – punishment or pardon.
Responsibility
Do not blame God for the harvest when you do the sowing.
Thankfulness, Robbery
On the very night that Matthew Henry was robbed, he prayed this
prayer ...
"I thank Thee,
FIRST, because I was never robbed before;
SECOND, because although they took my money,
they did not take my life;
THIRD, because although they took my all, it was not much;
FOURTH, because it was I who was robbed and not I who was doing the
robbing.
The Fields are white unto Harvest
If all the lost people of the world were to line up single file ...
The line would reach around the world 30 times.
The line would grow at the rate of 20 miles per day.
If you should attempt to drive 50 miles per hour, 10 hours per day,
it would take you 4 years and 40 days to get to the end of that
line. But, by the time you reached the end of that line, it would
have gotten 30,000 miles longer.
The need of the lost is to be saved, the way they are multiplying,
we had better get busy.
Unknown
Learning to use good judgment
Always judge others to help
Never judge others to condemn
Do not forget to judge yourself, first.
G. Steven Andres

three Common Denominators
1. As children, they had loving interaction with adults in learning
situations.
