Our Approach
to Preaching & Teaching
Preaching style, Steve Andres Pulpit Supply Ministry, Bible based, simple, practical, no opinions or controversies
Baptist, pulpit supply ministry, sermons, lessons, simple, practical, non-controversial, no opinions, Bible based
Simple sermons, preaching and teaching with practical application avoiding controversial issues and opinions, Bible based,
King James Bible
Sermons and Lessons ...
are usually very
simple and practical. Never engaging
controversial issues or speaking from opinion.
-
We leave
controversy to the Pastor who will be
present
over the years to ...
* make further explanations
* deal with questions
* handle concerns.
Occasionally we are asked by Pastors to address special
issues and gladly do so.
-
The Supply
Preacher's responsibility is not to
straighten out the church, but feed it in
the Pastor's absence.
Our Sermons and
Lessons, besides Scriptural references, employ illustrations and humor
for practical application, appealing to
Juniors, Teens, Parents and Grandparents. Our
Sermons and Lessons
are never labeled Traditional or Contemporary,
because they tackle human-interest problems with
Biblical solutions and universal appeal.
"Not just Pointing to the Problems,
But also Supplying Scriptural Solutions."

We preach from the King James Bible, but never
make Bible Versions an issue. We let the
Pastor pick and choose his own
* matters-of-concern
* when to handle them
* how to solve them
Our teaching and preaching attempts to lift Jesus
Christ,
pointing to His ...
* death
* burial
* resurrection
* soon return
* and making Him our great example
We also attempt to develop personal character in the
saints, for ...
* spiritual maturity
* fellowship amongst the saints and with the Lord
* reaching the community
"Making sin to be shunned,
personal righteousness to be shared."
