What could our church
expect from a local
Community Outreach?
·Churches seeking the lost in their community through public events
like fairs, festivals, community parks, events which take the place of
Halloween, etcl.
There are opportunities to touch souls.
A chance to gain experience in their personal witnessing, soul winning.
Taking on a burden to spread the Gospel.
The following is what one Assistant Pastor wrote
after working an Outreach in a Public Park near their church.
The three most noticeable things the holy Spirit did for
us, and I'm convinced will do in future as we continue this public
ministry, are ...

Opportunity
He brings souls into the church. Not necessarily directly from the
work done at the park, but the Sunday after we had more visitors
than we've ever had.

Experience
He keeps Christians sharpened in their own personal witness among
friends and family.

Burden
He
provides and increases the same desire to "seek and to save that which was lost"
that the Lord Jesus Christ has. People become zealous for the gospel.
