Long Wars require a Posture
* Warriors must take the battle to the enemy, go on the
offensive.
Not fight on the battle ground the enemy chooses.
Not fight with the armaments the enemy chooses.
Not fight with the strategy the enemy chooses.
Win the Lost
Do not argue with them
Do not struggle with them
Do not join up with them

Long Wars require a Preparation
* Discipline - Character
- with the Bible
- with Prayer Life
- with Church Participation
* Discernment
So many saints are victims of Friendly Fire
- Discern who the enemy really is
All who oppose God
God can only be please by faith
- Discern what his goals are
They are selfish
They are useless
They are pointless
- Discern what needs to be done
Win the Lost with the Word
This is the bottom line
* Determination
- to endue hardness (difficulties)
- to stand (having done all, stand)
- to adapt (use what you have to win the Long War)
- to win for Christ
