Everyone Gets One

The picture below is of Pat giving San Antonio Spurs Basketball Star, Michael Finley, a Smiley tract.

Of course we do not know if he was already saved, but he did smile, when he looked at it and said, "Ooooh, thank you, thank you."  Pat said, "You need to hold on to this and read it."  He said, "Oh, I will, I will."  Then he put it in his pocket.  He was clearly surprised and pleased.

If he was not saved, the Gospel went one person further today.  If he was saved already, he was encouraged to know that there are others who care about souls.

We are not trying to push "Celebrity-ism", but would like to emphasize that celebrities are very difficult to approach and may not be as apt to receive a witness or a tract.  So, it is worth a little extra effort to place the Gospel into the hand of people like this.

As always, Pat was on the job, seeing that everyone, gets one (tract).
