Victories
in the Vineyard
Christmas in God's Country - Hondo, TX
Victory Baptist Church obtained the booth and
turned out to help. Pastor Bonam was not able to come but Mrs.
Bonam was there with several ladies. 21 were dealt with, 17 made a
profession of faith, 2 received assurance, 250 + received a tract.
Bro. Bonam was able to get the booth because he
was local. The last 2 years the Chamber had turned us down because
the Ministerial Association wanted a presence. Of course, they
never did anything, but Victory Baptist did!
Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting, Bulverde,
TX
Pastor James Leinneweber and the members of
Heritage Baptist Church in Bulverde obtained the booth and put up
their own canopy and equipment. It was just from 5 to 7pm, but the
Lord stirred up the crowd and grace was present. 31 were dealt
with, of which 16 made a profession of faith, 2 received assurance
and well over 200 got a tract placed directly in their hand.
One lady saw a big change on the spot. The
church went by, of course to follow-up and 2 of her grandchildren
(13 and 15 yrs) made a profession of faith. The next Sunday the
lady, her husband, her daughter and the daughter's husband and 4-5
grandchildren came to the morning service.
Post Office Celebration, Spring Branch, TX
Spring Branch only has a Post Office and Fire
Station, they must celebrate the Fire Station in the spring.
Pastor James Leinneweber worked this event on
crutches. 20 were dealt with, 14 of which made a profession of
faith and 1 got assurance. About 150 + personally accepted a
tract.
The Post Office was so glad we were there they
made the booth space free and when they heard the outcome, gave us a
hug.

Words for Soul Winners and Warners
"Just how many of these people really get saved,
Baptized and into church?"
Way too few! But a whole lot more than if
nothing is done at all. Our aim and the churches' we work with is
to give a tract to everyone in sight, witness to as many as
possible, reap those willing, mature even a smaller number and love
the whole bunch.
There is an urgency in spreading the Gospel.
God has not dictated that some will be saved and some lost. All
have a free will and are welcome, "whosoever will let him take of
the water of life freely". It is His wish: 1) "not any
should perish"; 2) you and I should take the message, "how
shall they hear without a preacher (a witness, not necessarily a
pastor)?"
So the criteria is not how many really got
saved, Baptized and into church, but how many were told. Hence the
name of the ministry: Winning and Warning. We can safely say that
everyone who received a verbal witness was told! Even a good number
who received a tract were told through the printed page. Even
a more telling question might be, "how many were NOT told?"

Touching
Testimonies
Jason 21
I prayed to Jesus and to forgive me for my
sins.
Forgiveness is the need of every human
heart.
Alysha 13
I feel that I just let God into my life for
the first time. Before this I wasn’t sure if he really was
real. But now I live for God and I will try my best to be loyal
to him.
Samantha 15
I was saved by Jesus, because I asked for
forgiveness. I am thankful for Jesus, paying for my sins.
Some can see it and express it so simply.
Mike 27
Prayed to the Lord to be accepted.
Aaron & James 18, 19
These young men were working in the local
Job Corps unit trying to earn a little money at the
fairgrounds. They readily heard the Gospel, possibly thinking
that they could inquire anonimously. Even though their homes
and families were hundreds of miles away and they were working
at obscure jobs; and no one in the whole county knew their
names, God had not lost track of them and had steered them to
our booth, stirred their interest and stacked enough grace on
their hearts for them “to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on His name”.
Isaiah 20
I just confessed my sins and accepted Jesus
in my life to become a new man.
Isaiah knew he needed saving and asked Jesus for it
