Thanks
for caring for the lost and backslidden.
Your
giving and praying has help us witness at Public Events for the last
8 years (before that we worked out of our church). Now we are
seeing not only fruit, but more laborers in the vineyard. Many
events in the Northwest States and Kansas have been taken over by
churches or individuals whom we have trained or influenced.
For
instance, Barney Smith saw what could be done in Kansas and worked
7-8 fairs of his own this summer. He has also trained several
churches to work their own events. Rob Lahr in Montana, Tony
Repreza in Texas, Denny Wallace in Texas and a few others who are
not as busy are examples of men who have seen the need and taken up
the mantle . We have also trained and encouraged numerous churches
to work their local events. A few more every year do so,
successfully. Over 250 individuals have helped in booths so far
this year alone. Some winning the lost for the first time, some for
the first time in a long time. We feel this is vital and pray the
Lord will continue to open other doors, too. Should your church be
working a fair, or festival or flea market?
Promise for
the Pilgrim
Ac 2:46-47 "And they, continuing daily with
one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,
did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising
God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to
the church daily such as should be saved."

Ministry
Instead of highlighting a particular event in
this edition, we decided to show our readers and supporters some
events which operate on their own and others who are almost there.
Morton County Fair, Elkhart, KS
Pastor Timothy Lapp is new in town. He took
the opportunity to meet a lot of people and he and the First Baptist
Church had 3 saved, 29 received a witness, but did not make a
profession of faith, 4 assurance, 480 tracts were distributed.
Pastor Heckle helped and Bro. Lapp also helped Bro. Heckle with his
fair.
Texas County Fair, Guymon, OK
Pastor Van Heckle and the
members of Tabernacle Baptist Church worked their event this year.
They had 8 make professions of faith, gave away 1400 tracts and 25
received a witness. Bro. and Mrs. Stavenhagen with AGM also helped.
Western Idaho State Fair, Boise, ID
Pastor Rick DiMichele and the members of
Treasure Valley Baptist Church had another good year with 226
professions and 423 receiving a witness. Bro. Gehlken ran the booth
again and said the crowd was down this year, but they had over 100
workers and witnessed to a total of 649. Just a few less than last
year.
Fayette County Fair, La Grange TX
Pastor Nicholas Kastello and the members of the
Bible Baptist Church had 32 professions of faith, 23 more received a
witness without a profession, 2 got assurance of salvation and 840
tracts were put in agreeable hands. They will probably work this
event and another one in the area next year by themselves.
Western Montana Fair, Missoula, MT
Pastors John Haveman (Open Door Baptist Church) and Tom Lemmons
(Lighthouse Baptist Church) finished their event with 30 professions
and 4000 tracts placed in willing hands. AGM's Bro. Summy was there
as well.

Soul Winning

Training churches for Booth work
We use the
Team Soul Winning method. The
Shift
Leader Greets, Meets and Seats prospects, while 1 to 6 Workers
relate the Gospel at counseling tables and only to prospects who
have ASKED TO SEE how to be saved.
Workers knowing this, volunteer
much more readily. We train
Shift Leaders in an hour in a private
session and
Workers (even those without witnessing experience)
in one, regularly scheduled, church service.

Testimonies
Chris 16
I was asked by a kind gentleman if he could
talk to me and my cousin. He told me I was a sinner and he changed
me.
Chris
was assured that God does the changing, but the most important part
is that he was changed.
Matt 35
I prayed to be saved.
We never
know for certain if someone is saved or not, but Matt also put down
the date, like he was wanting to remember when this all happened.
Brady 15
I asked if I could be reborn and I really think
I was.
Brady seems like he wasn't sure at first, but
got his proof.
Braden 16
I just called upon the name of the Lord and
asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart.
In our
presentation of the Plan of Salvation we said nothing about Jesus
coming into the heart. Someone had planted the seed and we watered,
while God is the one who gives the increase.
Julie Adult (age withheld)
I asked God to forgive my sins and to please
send me to heaven when I pass away.
Julie was humble because she
knew her predicament.
