Thanks for reading these few lines
All of you that support this ministry will be glad to learn that we have sent out many Training Videos for seating prospects in a soul winning booth.  This video enables churches to operate a soul winning booth without us being present.  It is still best for us to come and do the training and motivational exhortation.  Churches operating a booth year after year, where we cannot come prior to the event will find the video useful.
If you have not received your copy, let us know.  It is free to churches who are committed to operating a soul winning both at an event.  Just let us know the event name and location. How to order Fair and Festival booth soul winning training video.

Promise for the Pilgrim

"And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."  Galatians 4:6
Do you have the change that the Spirit brings.  The change is how we know if we have been saved or not.

Victories in the Vineyard
 More about Public Event Ministry

Barton County Fair, Great Bend, KS
Heritage Baptist Church and Pastor Ken Gray have worked this event for the last 5-6 years and always do a great job.  This year the Lord gave them 19 professions, and 1300 tracts were distributed to willing hands.  They witnessed to many more, who did not make a profession of faith on the spot.  They also had 6 from the fair visit their church services.  Every year they have a good amount of visitors.  One year they won a 13 year old boy, who came to church and eventually got his parents to come, they were saved and the next year all 3 worked in the soul winning booth at the fair.

Doesn't this sound like something you want your church to have involvement?
* Training your members to be confident Soul Winners
* Touching the community in a meaningful way
* Having the community see that there is a church which unashamedly stands for Jesus Christ.
* Placing tracts in hands of the rich and poor, famous and infamous.  Where else are you going to go to place a tract in the hand of a rich or famous person in your community?  Our mandate is to reach the whole community.
* Leading the way in encouraging the saved in other churches to be a witness … and hundreds of other ways …

Town & Country Jamboree, Moulton, TX
We worked this with Denny Wallace, a tireless Soul Winner from the Texas Gulf Coast.  The Lord gave us 21 professions of faith, 11 received a witness, but were not saved on the spot, 450 got a tract placed in their hands.  Not a big event, but an important one for the 32 who got a witness and the 450 who got a tract.

There are small events like this all over south Texas.  Most of the towns do not have a forceful, vocal witness, nor an aggressive tract ministry.  (By "forceful" and "aggressive", I do not mean obnoxious or repugnant)

Tract Ministry
We like to put tracts in hands.  We like leaving them laying around or with a tip, but an effective tract ministry places tracts in willing hands, by using comments like, "Did I ever give you one of these?" or "I wouldn't be much of a Christian, if I wasn't handing out literature, would I?" or "Bet you never got one of these, did you?"

Churches learning to exercise useful comments, go from laying tracts around, to placing them in hands.  When it is in the hand, they must deal with it.  Remember many Soul Winners start with tract distribution.  I DID!

Touching Testimonies
More Exciting Testimonies

Taryn - 18
I feel like He is going to save me from all my lies.
Taryn knew he was a sinner, but struggled a bit with knowing for sure he was saved.  Sin has a binding hold.

Terri - 38
God forgave me the sins of my heart in what He did on the cross.
Terri knew about her sins, too, but she got the assurance of forgiveness

Becky - 13
I asked God into my heart for the last time.
Becky had prayed to be saved more than several times.  But she knew she wasn't, until this "last time".  Most of us need to quit trying to be saved, and come as the sinners we are, and ask Jesus to be our personal Saviour.

Chelsea - 14
I felt really good when I prayed.  I thought of Grandma.
This comment happens more than you might think, but less than we used to hear it.  Would your grandchildren be saying this about you?

Chris - 17
I would like us to discuss this again at a later date. Acts 24.25  “And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.”
If I heard Chris call for further discussion, I would be glad to do it, but I left town and will not be back for another year.
