Man to Man -
a Festival with mostly Christian Vendors with an Outdoor Theme
Rocky Creek Baptist Church has worked this
event the last several years with Denny Wallace leading the way.
This year they fine tuned their approach using 6-8 soul winners per
shift with 2 shifts, plus Pastor Bartlett and staff, who were
waiting for prospects 13 and older to be sent to them for a
witness. They rented 3 booth spaces and kept them full for most of
the day. Just on the side we were working there were 62 professions
of faith, 20 receiving a witness with out a profession, 4 received
assurance of salvation, at least 800 tracts were distributed to
willing hands, and there were at least 20 workers. They also had
6-8 workers per shift with at least 2 shifts who were witnessing to
children by means of assembling a bracelet with colored beads
(similar to the Wordless Book approach). This was a one day event,
from 9am to 4pm. The church did an excellent job. Pastor Bartlett
and Bro. Denny are to be commended. The whole church was very
excited.
Eisenhauer Flea Market -
San Antonio, TX
15 professions of faith - 640 tracts placed in
willing hands - 8 received a witness without making a profession - 5
received assurance of salvation - 2 workers from Heritage Baptist
Church, Bulverde, TX.
Laredo International Fair and Expo -
a Regional Fair in Laredo, TX
Family Baptist Church, Laredo, TX, worked this
event. The Lord gave us 75 professions of faith, 4 received
assurance, 11 received a witness, but did not make a profession. 6
workers turned out from the church. 760 tracts were distributed,
plus about 100 Spanish tracts. Even in Laredo, there are not that
many who attend public events who cannot speak English. If they are
not bi-lingual or with someone who is, they usually do not come at
all. We have seen this from Texas to Washington state.
Some making a profession of faith, lived in
Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, the rest were from Laredo and all the small
towns in the area, many of which do not have a Gospel witness.

I felt like a new person after we read the
Bible and heard the Word of God.
She may not have been
saved. But she was not
given false hope. She understood that the
change must come from God
and what kind of a
change to look for.

Saved!
As he was leaving he said he was going to
call his grandmother and let her know what happened.
Chris 13
In my prayer I had opened the door to my heart
to the Lord and Saviour God. I would like to be Born Again. I
would love to be in Heaven the day I die.
Chris cried and cried. He was so shocked to
learn that he had put the nails in Jesus' hands. "I did not know
that I did that."
Josh 16
I have been
changed and
saved.
His girl friend was already
saved and said
she would like for him to see it.
Elizabeth 30
She came by the booth with her daughter (2
yrs) and wanted to see what the Bible says about being Born Again.
Afterwards she related that she had a friend who plays the piano in
a Baptist Church, who had been talking to her about this. We told
her to be sure to tell her friend what happened to her at the
booth. One plants and another waters.

About
Please pray about Fuel. No, I should have said
FUEL. Everyone is having the same problem, but the
Lord knows how to handle it and we are confident He will. Just tell
Him about it. See our Prayer Requests on the web site. We not only
suggest areas for prayer, but give reasons why. Plus it is too long
for this type of publication.
