Promise for
the Pilgrim
"And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things
are passed away." Revelation 21:4

Texas State Fair
This was our best year, yet, as far as sheer numbers are concerned.
Only eternity will reveal what actually took place. The Lord gave
us 501 professions of faith - 74 for assurance of salvation - 140
heard the Gospel, but did not make a profession at the moment - over
33,000 Smile tracts and 100 Spanish tracts were placed in friendly
hands - 576 man-hours were expended to work the booth, 24 straight
days at 12 hours per day. 715 were dealt with on a person to person
basis. Literally 1000's and 1000's, possibly 10's of 1000's went
through the 3 Doors to discover that "Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the Kingdom of God." We especially felt good about
Thursdays, Senior Days, when we stood for hours showing them the New
Birth requirement for salvation. Since many Seniors do not attend
churches and will not let you witness to them, we were able to get
an indirect witness in, with the 3 Doors. On the surface, Thursdays
do not look like profitable days, but God can use what little you
give Him. Seniors may not seem prime prospects for church
membership, but God expects us to tell everyone the best way we can.
Of course in Dallas, many are already
saved, and
while people are going through the 3 Doors, there are some passing
by who know what is going on and will shout, "Amen", "That's right",
"Jesus is the only way" and other more creative expressions of
encouragement. That 2nd or 3rd witness drives
the point home. God uses any kind of support.
Thanks also to Pastor and Mrs. Paul Shearin and
members of Harvest Baptist in Waxahachie, TX, for their help and
encouragement at this event. They also let us park our trailer at
the church with complete hookups, a huge help.
Thanks, too, to Bob & Lou Blanton (AGM Missionaries)
who worked all 24 days. Great Soul Winners!!!

Words for Soul Winners and Warners
More about
Soul Winning
- *How *Where *etc
Since it is becoming more difficult to soul win door
to door, shouldn't your church consider working a booth at a local
or even regional event (it is alright with God if you win someone
closer to a sister church).
Many people will be either Won or Warned by your
efforts. But almost as importantly, church members will gain
valuable experience. If done 3-6 times a year, some will become
very confident with their witness and testimony, even bold with
their expression of the same. Once this takes place, they will
start talking to their Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Workmates and
Schoolmates, THIS WILL BUILD A CHURCH.
We are set up to come and train a few key people on
how to Greet, Meet and Seat prospects for less skilled members who
only want to relate the Gospel, not necessarily do the
initial-contact type work. We have tried and proven techniques for
tract distribution, prospecting, etc. Your people can use the
Gospel presentation your church espouses or we can train in this
area as well.
Do not wait on the Lord's leading. This paragraph
may be the only leading you ever get. Besides, God is always
willing that you and I take the Gospel to every creature. Any kind
of courteous witness is always appropriate. Our problem is that we
do not know who or where you are. Contact us at Steve
@AndresUSA.com or 512-627-0512,
1) to find out what other churches are involved, 2) ask pertinent
questions and 3) how to get started.

Many at the Texas State Fair
I got one (Smile Tract) last year and I still
have it.
It is very encouraging to hear that people are
receiving, reading and RETAINING your tracts. We also encourage
them to pass it on to a friend or relative who is not
saved.
Rob - Kim - Colby Teens
All visited a Baptist Church last Sunday for
the first time. We asked if they would like to see what it takes to
be Born Again. They said, "NO!" We said, "Remember, we are
not asking you to be Born Again, but asking you to see it. What
would it hurt to see it?" They agreed. All 3 sat, listened and
wanted salvation.
Isn't it very important to let people know that
you are not asking them to commit to the "unknown", but that you
just want to show them the "unknown" first.
Joe 27
I felt spiritually enlightened, I'm leaving
with a lighter heart.
Joe got a
change. Guilt of sin is heavy.
Carmen 20
What I experienced was as if the Holy Spirit
was in me and that I know whenever I need help, assurance or love, I
can just pray.
David and his Mother
Mother told Pat: "My son remembers you. You
told him how to be
saved 2 years ago." David said, "I study my Bible
every day."
Somehow you never forget the person who led you
to the Lord. Get active in telling others. They will remember
you. God most certainly has a record.
Anita 17
I opened the door and he welcomed me and I felt
safe.
Anita let Jesus in. Comfort and safety are
always qualities of Christ. Do you have them. Do your friends and
relatives have them?
Pedro 18
Gave me the urge to go out and
save others.
One of the first changes that God makes in a
new heart is a desire to tell others: "I got
saved, wouldn't you
like to be
saved, too?" Pedro got it. Don't lose your desire.

Our Vision
More about our
Vision
We see people everywhere, ready to hear the Gospel.
Not all are ready to receive it. But many, many want to hear
about the possibility of being
saved.
We do not see any discouragement when a few turn us
down. They are not rejecting us, but the Saviour.
Besides, telling is our business, not saving. But even at
that, we take them as far as we can.
* Some to an introduction.
* Some through the Gospel.
* Some to or through a prayer.
* Some all the way to the feet of Jesus.

expanding. If we report we are fully supported, mark us down as
having lost our vision. We need your help to continue to move
forward in winning the lost.
