Fayette County Fair
This was our 3rd year to be with Bible Baptist Church in
La Grange, TX. While we were there, they called their new
pastor, Bro. Costella. He and others helped in the booth.
Especially Frank and Brenda Nutt, who worked all day every
day to make this event a success. Very kind and loving
friends. 41 professions of faith, 18 received assurance, 18
received a witness without making a decision and 1260 tracts
were distributed from the booth. Another 1520 tracts were
given away at the parade. The Nutts also helping there.
Thank the Lord for their concern for their community.
These small county fairs can be a huge benefit to
training soul winners. Churches can work their local event, which
is usually 3-5 days in length, then work area festivals, which are
usually 1-3 days. Using 4-6 events like this per year will keep your
members soul conscious, teach them tract distribution and sharpen
their witness skills. What church can thrive without these? Call
us and compare schedules. If you're the only one (Pastor or member)
in your church who cares, get started yourself. God wants to use
your witness. There is no need of a call to be a Soul Winner.
Eisenhower Flea Market
Pastor James Linneweber of Heritage Baptist Church, Bulverde,
TX, helped at the San Antonio Flea Market. We had 14 professions of
faith and some excellent contacts. We saw some lives really
changed
while working just those few hours and we were very encouraged.
This is a new church with a heart to win the lost, wherever they may
be found. Bro. Linneweber also helped another Missionary (Dick
Sonnier) at the Comal County Fair in New Braunfels. Pray this
church can get a good start. Do you have relatives or friends in
the area who are not
saved or looking for a church?
Texas State Fair
We are just getting underway in Dallas and off to a very good
start. More in October's Prayer Letter. Pray for stamina.

We try to make much of the fact that we, as
human beings, cannot get anyone
saved. We may be separated,
read our Bibles and pray, but if the Lord does not do the
saving, it is not going to get done. Our work is sowing and
watering, God gives the increase. Public Events present many,
many chances for winning and warning. GO! WIN! REJOICE!
We call ourselves Soul Winners, and we do see many
come to the Lord, but we do a lot more Warning than Winning. Any of
us can Warn the lost with tracts, a witness and testimony. If you
get involved, you will see many Warned and a lot more Won, than
doing nothing at all. Public Events offer some much opportunity for
perfecting your Witness.

Jaylin 17
I asked God for forgiveness and asked Him to
allow me into Heaven and I meant it.
Jaylin wanted forgiveness and got it.
The burden of sin is real. It weighs heavily, guiltily and
eternally.
Brenda 30
I asked to be born again.
Brenda took her petition to the Lord to
receive the born-again
change.
Sandra 14
I talked to God and it made me feel good. I
believe in God and that He is with us anywhere.
As Sandra prayed, she talked to God as
if He was right there. She believed He was.
Maricela 15
We believed in Jesus and found out that He died for
us on the cross.
Maricela, at the very least, received a good
witness. She may have been
saved right there or even later.
Jason 24
I came in, listened to parts of the Bible and prayed
for my Saviour.
Jason came into the booth, sat down, listened
and knew he needed a savior. He got the Saviour.
Adam 18
I, Adam, was
saved and cleansed of my sins tonight.
Adam was evidently concerned about the
corruption of sin and wanted the cleansing of Jesus Christ.
Krystal 20
God has assured me that tonight I will be admitted
into the gates of heaven, forgiven me for everything I have done in
my life.
Krystal was forgiven of every sin and received
assurance of it. You know when sin is gone.
Seth 13
I asked God to forgive me in prayer
Seth brought 2 of his friends, one at a time.
He told them to step up closer to the "3 Doors" so we would ask them
if they had seen the 3 Things God Cannot Do. He was a very effective
evangelist.
Tom 19
I was just
saved. No one can take that away from
me.
Since salvation is for all sin, past and
future, once obtained, no sin can be the cause of losing it. The
Spirit of God impressed Tom with this all at once.
More and more there is urgent need for our
witness to move out further to the lost in multiplied
communities.
Pray for our health, support,
preaching meetings, training meetings, safety, booth fees, tract
costs, open hearts and spirit guidance.
Thanks for your prayers. Our support has risen the last month.
Thank the Lord and churches with vision.
