A Witnessing Tract
for novices
in a Soul Winning Booth

This tract is often used in a Soul Winning Booth where there is a
Shift Leader sending prospects to Workers who do not have much
experience in Witnessing.
The Soul Winner should read through the tract several times, so he
or she knows where the tract is going and how it gets there.
This is also an excellent time to ask an experienced person some
questions about the tract.

Start
When the prospect arrives at the counseling table he or she has
already ASKED TO SEE what it takes to be saved or born again, so the
first page gets right into the Witness.

Reading vs Memorizing
The Soul Winner can easily read the tract to the prospect.
Do not feel like reading it is a second rate Witness. The
prospect does not think that everything must be memorized.

At first, do not worry about the prospect answering questions
Questions are mostly rhetorical until the soul winner reads
down to "Isn't this Great News?" As the 3 following questions
are read, attempt to get answers from the prospect.

Prayer
Read on down to the Prayer.
Read the Prayer to the Prospect a single line at a time, then ask
the question to the left.

Decision Card
As soon as they finish praying, ask them to fill out the
Decision Card with something like:
"Fill this out for me right quick, then I want to give you something
before you leave."
Most will oblige, in order to receive whatever you are going to give
them.
The
Decision Card can be given to the prospect anytime after the
prayer, whenever the Witness is comfortable in doing it. Just
do not let the prospect get away without completing one.

Finish up
Now start reading where it says,
"Now ... How can you know (the proof) ..."
and go to the end of the page.
Only read the parts on the last page that go with the prospects
answers to the questions on the page just referenced (next to last).

Referral
If there is a local church working in the booth, they can stamp
the tract with their imprint. Then the last 2 questions on the
last page can be in reference to the church.
