Jesus carried the weight of all sin
Isa 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray
(sinned); we have turned every one to his own way
(away from God); and the
Lord hath laid on him the iniquity
(sin) of us all.
"All" here, is
not a general blanket statement.
Jesus did not die for "all" of us, He did for each and everyone
of us, personally. When He was on the cross, He had your life
and my life in mind.

Jesus assumed the
sin of every sinner
1 Pet 2:24
Who his own self (Jesus)
bare our sins in his own body on the tree
(Cross), that we, being dead
(powerless) to sins, should
live (made powerful) unto
righteousness: by whose stripes
(punishment) ye were healed
(saved).

Jesus
substituted Himself to pay our sin debt
1 John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and
sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
God the Father loved us before we loved Him.
He sent God the Son to be the atonement for each person's sin.
God the Father counted Him as the One (propitiation) to pay
the sin debt that each of us owed.
1 John 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but
also for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus took the sin-debt
of sinners
Rom 5:6
For when we were yet without strength
(sinful), in due time Christ
died for the ungodly (sinners).
Rom 5:7
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for
a good man some would even dare to die.
Rom 5:8
But God commendeth (showed)
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us.
Rom 5:9
Much more then, being now justified
(forgiven) by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
(eternal punishment) through
him (Jesus).
Rom 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death
of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his
life.
Rom 5:11
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
