Since Eternal Life is of God and not man, it is
possible for man to have it. Saying we have it is not
presumptuous. When a person is promised Eternal Life, then
receives Eternal Life according to that promise, he or she can claim
the position of Eternal Life, by having the proof of the promised
Life, which is the changed heart.

Eternal Life
is Promised
1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he
hath promised us, even eternal life.
Jesus
obtained Eternal Life, so He can give it.
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and
calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for us.

A belief in the Son,
Jesus Christ, is how a person obtains Eternal Life.
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have eternal life.
Eternal Life begins with belief. Therefore it
does not start after we die, but immediately upon faith in Jesus.
Having Eternal Life right away is living the rest of your natural
life with God's power and potential.
So how does a person believe enough to receive
Eternal Life?
Believe you are a sinner in need of saving from
punishment.
Believe Jesus is the Saviour from the punishment of sin.
Believe Jesus wants to be your personal Saviour from your personal
sin.
Believe enough by calling on Jesus as your Personal Saviour to save
you from the punishment from your sin.
So how do you know if Jesus really saved you, given
you Eternal Life or not?
Everyone who is saved is born again a new person.
It is a big change that God makes in the believer. The
believer may make some changes and should, but the new birth is a
change that God makes. One of the very first changes that God
makes is an urge to tell others that they are saved and would like
them to know that they could be saved, too, that they could have
Eternal Life.
It boils down to, did you get the change? If
so, you have the proof of being saved, born again and living with
God eternally.

Eternal Life is
more than meets the eye
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath
everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see
life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Eternal Life is more than life that will always
exist. It is the life of God, Himself. If you do not
have Life, you will not see Life, the Son. Jesus is Eternal
life. Eternal Life, having come from God, is God's Life.
Since it is not another kind of life, but actually God's Life, we
can be very confident of its ...

Eternal Life is
a Gift
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Eternal Life is a Gift.
All gifts from God and Man are Free to receive. There are no
requirements to receiving a gift from the person who wants to give
it. A gift cannot be obtained by being good. What ever
is given for good conduct, is not a gift, but wages. Eternal
Life is 100% free.
All gifts from God and man are Free to Keep. A gift cannot be
retained by good conduct. What ever is kept b being good is
not a gift, but wages for good behavior. There are no
requirements to meet to keep a gift. Once it is given it is
100% free to keep.

Eternal Life cannot be taken away
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know
them, and they follow me:
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and
no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
