* Ease the Fears
This is usually the most tense time for the soul winner and the
prospect. Put these fears to rest.
- Go straight to business
- Stick strictly to these points and you will be surprised how simply and
quickly you will be in the midst of a witness for Jesus Christ.
Top
* Caution
Do not put-off witnessing until you "nail down" the following.
Just the opposite. Begin witnessing immediately and refine as
you go. God is able to use the smallest effort on your part to
do the mightiest work. But God can do nothing, unless you do
something.

* Warming Up?
Do not feel like you must warm up to the prospect. They have
sat down to SEE what it takes to be Born Again. Show it to
them.
Do not ask the prospects questions. They feel this is
intrusive. They did not sit down for questions. Give them the
answers to their questions, which many are not able to even phrase.

* Introduction
"Hi, I'm Steve, what are your name(s)?"
Top
* Go immediately
to work
"The reason why we must be born again is because we have ruined
the first birth and here is how we ruined it."

* Witness
Use a set of Bible verses with which you are familiar and
comfortable.
Use a set of verses which express at lease ...
- The prospect is a sinner
- The prospect needs a Saviour
- Jesus is the Saviour
- The prospect must call on Jesus as Saviour
Use sentences which make the presentation flow from one verse to the
other, one idea to the other. If the presentation is too choppy with
thought transitions which present new thoughts without explanation.
The prospect may be confused.
